Valery Rozov BASE Jump from Mount Kilimanjaro

Valery Rozov, a well-known Russian B.A.S.E. jumper and mountaineer has conquered the highest point in Africa (5,895 meters), and made the first ever B.A.S.E. jump from Mount Kilimanjaro, from an altitude of 5,460 meters above sea level. During the jump, Rozov spent more than one minute in freefall and travelled a horizontal distance of more than 3 kilometers. The elevation change between the jump point (5,460 meters) and the point of landing (the Barranco Camp, 3,950 meters) was more than 1,500 meters.

“Flight Line” Ep 10: Andy Farrington made his first skydive at age 12 with his father, then started jumping in earnest four years later when he made 15 jumps on his 16th birthday. Since then, Andy has made almost 20,000 parachute jumps and become an internationally-known and highly respected all-round parachutist. He has competed in freefall and canopy piloting events at the national and international level, and was the 2005 world champion in canopy piloting accuracy. Andy has made more than 3,000 total wingsuit flights, including 600 wingsuit BASE jumps and stunt jumps for Transformers 3, Ironman 3 and Godzilla. He recently won the inaugural Red Bull Aces race in the USA.

“Flight Line” Ep 9: James Boole started parachuting in 1996, a few years before modern wingsuit skydiving took off. When it did, James took off with it.

James is a wingsuit designer and test pilot, as well as a Phoenix Fly and Tony Suits Wingsuit trainer for British Army’s Red Devils parachute team. He has won multiple medals and trophies in national and international skydiving and BASE jumping events. James has performed close to a thousand jumps from hundreds of objects all over the world. In addition to fun jumping, James has also participated in public demonstrations, world record attempts and film & TV projects.
